Migration guide

How to migrate from Calendly to Cal.com

Scheduling doesn't really have "data" to migrate (beyond future bookings) — the work is in recreating your event types and reconnecting your calendar.

  1. 1

Write down your event types in Calendly

Duration, booking-form questions, buffers between meetings and availability — document every event type before shutting it down, since this configuration has no structured export.

  2. 2

    Connect your calendar to Cal.com

Authorize access to Google Calendar/Outlook just like you did in Calendly, so Cal.com automatically blocks off slots that are already busy.

  3. 3

    Recreate your event types

Set up each event type in Cal.com with the same duration and questions. Test it by booking a trial appointment yourself before publishing the new link.

  4. 4

    Update your published links

Replace the Calendly link in your email signature, social bios and website with the new Cal.com link, and leave a temporary redirect if possible.

Before cancelling Calendly

Before cancelling Calendly, reschedule or export already-confirmed bookings — they're lost the moment you close the account.

These steps are a general guideline — the exact export menu can vary depending on Calendly's plan and version.
